WHY USE DENTAL LINK
CAD CAM Technology
Since embracing the state-of-the-art CAD/CAM technology; Wieland Zenotec Select Hybrid. Dental Link Laboratory has steadily increased our productivity and enhanced our product quality and consistency.
The proven Wieland milling strategies and milling geometries produces high-precision results. And with its comprehensive 5-axis simultaneous milling system, it enables the production of even the most complex of shapes. With this innovative system, we can create highly exact crowns, bridges, wax/resin forms and models, veneers, inlays/onlays and implant abutments.
Zenotec Select Hybrid is distinguished by its precision and efficiency in the dry milling of wide array of dental materials including; IPS emax® ZirCAD zirconia, IPS emax® lithium disilicate, Telio® CAD, ProArt® and Zenotec PMMA Cast. Furthermore, Zenotec Select Hybrid offers the option of both wet-grinding and dry-grinding operation. This allow us to provide IPS e.max® restorations digitally from start to finish.
With our latest CAD/CAM technology, Dental Link are able to process and manufacture restorations completely digital. The 3Shape D850 laboratory scanner provides an accuracy of 7 µm (ISO)/8 µm (Implant BAR), thus allowing poured out model to be scanned in a very high precision manner. The 3Shape CAD system provides precise 3D digital design of various types of restorations; including all types of crowns, bridges and implant prosthesis.
Instead of just fabricating restorations the conventional way with impressions and models. Our CAD/CAM system is fully compatible with most of today’s major intra-oral scanning systems; such as 3Shape TRIOS®, 3M True Definition®, iTero® and Carestream. Additionally, Dental Link is one of the only few TRIOS certified milling laboratory in New Zealand. Send us the scans of your patient’s mouths, Dental Link can design and mill the products without using impression and models, this minimises handling errors and enhances margin accuracies. An optional 3D printed model can also be provided by request. Furthermore, without the use of conventional impressions allows us to work more efficiently and result in a faster turn-around time with no extra charge. If you have an in-house CAD design software, even better! Just send us your design and we will have it milled and finished.
